Gov. Kemp Orders Statewide Shelter-In-Place, Closes Schools For Rest Of School Year

Gov. Brian Kemp said Wednesday that he is issuing a statewide shelter-in-place order as the state continues to battle the coronavirus. New School Added To Region Starting 2021-2022 School Year

On Monday the GHSA added another school to Region 7 AAA starting with the 2021-2022 school year.  Forsyth County Schools District plans to open East Forsyth High School in the 2021-2022 school year. Latest School Closing Information

Based on Governor Kemp’s guidance and ban on gatherings of ten or more people until April 6, 2020, Lumpkin County Schools including Athletics will remain closed through spring break. We hope to return on April 13, 2020. Go Indians!!! Indian Pride!
