Lumpkin County looked to get in the winning column Friday at Gilmer. At the end of the first quarter Lumpkin County fell behind 0-21. Gilmer was able to turn it on in the second quarter scoring 41 more points. At the half Lumpkin 0 Gilmer 62. The Indians came out after half fired up. Quarterback Cooper Scott got the Indians on the board, after a long drive, running through the Gilmer defense. Lumpkin 7 Gilmer 62. With the clock running neither team could cross the goal line the rest of the night. The final score Lumpkin County 7 Gilmer 62. The Indians travel to North Hall next Friday. Go Indians!!!
