Lumpkin Football Coach Accepts New Job

Head Football Coach Shane Williamson has accepted the Head Football Coach position at Hawkinsville High School. The announcement was made this morning by Athletic Director Nicky Jenkins. In the announcement Jenkins thanked Coach Williamson and wished him all the best in his new position. Lumpkin will start the search immediately for a new Head Football

A host of Lumpkin County players were named to the All-Region Football Team. First team selections Luke Smith-RB, Aaron Hopkins-DL, Devan Dye-OL, Jordan Buice-Kicker. Second team selections Tucker Kirk-DB, Kyle Amburgey-RB, Kevin Harkins-FB, Codey Bennett-Special Teams. Honorable Mention selections Ethan Kline-LB, Noah Adams-LB, Coleman Wendl-LB, Dart Parker-OL.
