Volleyball Tryouts Coming Up

Join the tribe! LCHS and LCMS volleyball tryouts are approaching fast! Tryouts for LCHS will be on May 6, 7 and 8 from 3:00-5:30. LCMS will have tryouts the following week on May 13, 14 and 15 from 3:30-5:30 in the LCHS gym. All athletes must have a current physical on file.

Blitz Names Volleyball Player Of The Year Finalists

Blitz Sports has named Victoria Crotzer from Lumpkin County one of this years finalist for Volleyball Player of the Year. On the season Victoria had 58 aces, 90.6 serve %, 186 kills, 373 digs. Congratulations Victoria! All the finalist can be seen here

Fantastic Volleyball Season Comes To An End

A first ever Sweet 16 team met its match at Jackson County this evening. The Lumpkin County Ladies fought hard til the end in the best 3 out of 5 match to move on to the Elite 8. Jackson County took the first set 25-10. Lumpkin also lost the second set. Needing to win the

Lumpkin Volleyball To Play In Round 1 State Championship

Lumpkin will be the number 4 seed in the first round of the State Volleyball Tournament. They will face Ringgold on Saturday at Ringgold. The match will begin after the Jackson County vs Sonoraville match which will begin at 2PM. The best 3 out of 5 will move on to the next round. Go Indians!!!

Lumpkin County Volleyball On To State Playoffs

Lumpkin volleyball is on the way to the State Playoffs. Today’s Region 7 AAA Tournament at North Hall had Lumpkin playing four matches. In the first match the Indians faced Fannin County. Fannin took the match to three sets with Lumpkin winning the first and third. In the second match Lumpkin faced host North Hall.

Lumpkin Volleyball Finishes Regular Season

The Lady Indian Volleyball team finished the regular season with a 18-22 mark. They will enter the Area 7-AAA Volleyball Tourney as the 5th seed and will play Fannin on October 11 at North Hall with a 11:00 AM start. The Indians will need two wins to reach the State Tournament. Volleyball With Big Win On Senior Night

Lumpkin volleyball seniors celebrated on senior night with a 3-0 victory over Pickens last night. The ladies will go to Dawson on Tuesday to face Cherokee Bluff and Dawson.  Go Indians!!! Indian Pride!

The Ladies traveled to North Hall last evening to face Fannin and North Hall in region volleyball matches. Although the outcome was not what Lumpkin wanted.
