Blitz Softball Player Of The Year Finalists

Blitz took our Softball nominees and honorable mentions, and whittled that list down to a finalist pool of 5. Lauren English is one of those five finalists. Finalists are voted on ONLY by an internal panel to determine the Softball Player of the Year! Blitz Softball Player Of The Year Nominees

The Nominees will be narrowed down into a finalist pool that will be voted on internally to determine the BLITZ Player of the Year. The lone nominee for Lumpkin County is Lauren English. There are two Honorable Mentions how ever. They are Emmie Graham and Amma Johnson. Lumpkin County Softball Hosted Rockmart In Round One Of The State Playoffs

The Lady Indian Softball Team entered the State Playoffs tonight a the region number 2 seed hosting Rockmart a number 3 seed. Lumpkin County Softball Finishes Regular Season With A Win

The Ladies hosted Banks County Friday evening to finish out the regular season play. On Tuesday Banks defeated the Indians 9-8. The Indians returned the favor Friday defeating Banks 7-4. Lumpkin County will compete in the State Playoff as the number 2 seed on Tuesday. The Indians will host Rockmart with the first game at

2020-2021 GHSA Class AAA State Fast Pitch Softball Playoffs

Lumpkin Ladies on Monday evening defeated region foe Cherokee Bluff 11-1 giving them the number 2 seed in the region. On Tuesday the Indians traveled to Banks County for a non-region contest. Banks squeaked out a close victory 8-9. On Friday the Indians are scheduled to play Banks at Lumpkin. The Ladies are now 18-8

Tuesday Evening Lumpkin County Softball Vs North Hall

The Lumpkin County Lady Softball team traveled to North Hall for a region game. The Indian defense held North Hall to just 2 runs. The Indians offense put 12 runs across the plate in the 12-2 victory. The Indians ae now 17-7 overall and 15-2 in region play. Go Indians!!! Lumpkin Pride!

Lumpkin County Softball Keeps Rolling Along

The Lady Indians hosted region foe Cherokee Bluff Thursday evening. Both teams bats were on point putting runs across the plate.  The Indians scored 15 runs while holding Cherokee Bluff to 7 runs. Next Tuesday the Indians will travel to North Hall. Go Indians!!! Lumpkin Pride!

The Lumpkin Ladies traveled to Dawson County Tuesday Evening for a region game. The lead off hitter Haley Sparks  had a good night with three hits. Long ball hitter Bella Henson had a 3-run bomb.
