Lumpkin County Boys Tennis is well represented in the Blitz Boys Tennis of the Year Nominees. Jacob Cumbie (#3 Singles), Laken Ferrell (#1 Singles) and Jared Hoch (#2 Singles) are all nominated for this year. NEW FOR 2020: BLITZ will pick a finalist group, and then have another group for the “FAN VOTE: ONE LAST FINALIST” to be included for consideration

This morning The Blitz has announced 10 BLITZ Tennis Player of the Year nominees. The Lumpkin County player nominee is Laken Ferrell. Lumpkin boys entered round one of the State Tournament against Jackson County. The Indians ended their season to Jackson Co. who proved to be the better squad on this meeting defeating the Indians 1-4. Indian Pride
The Indian Men’s Tennis squad will advance to State.
Lumpkin County Sports showcased the Grand Opening of the Tennis Courts Today. Coach Alan Hogan did the ribbon cutting honors and LCHS tennis players played the first ever games!
